Complaint / review text:
Went to Aspen Dental to get a front tooth cavity filled. On my first visit, I filled out the paper work. First red flag, on the paper work they wanted me to sign that I received financial information, which I had not. I did not sign this section and informed to lady at the counter I would sign as soon as I read it. I was never supplied this information. Now it’s off to the x-rays, never in my life have I had so many x-rays to get one tooth filled. Now I have to go to the inner waiting room to wait to see the Dentist. After waiting another 20 minutes am taking to the Dentist and I'm told I have 3 cavities and need a cleaning. I told them that it was all well and fine but I just wanted to take care of the front tooth and I had cash for that because I have no dental insurance. At that time they told me that I would have to make another appointment for that, these appointment was just for x-rays and to work out a dental plan.
Well that set me off cause I told them at the beginning I only wanted to get the front tooth filled. So now it’s out to the front to talk to the financial people. They tell me I need $850 and they could set me up with a payment plan which would run me $48 per month for 18 months. I told him “I was on Social Security and I was only interested today about getting the front tooth filled” and ask how much that was. I was quoted $285 to get that tooth filled and it would cost me more per month because it would only be for 6 months. I told him “I had the cash for that and when can I get it done.” He made me appointment for the following Friday. Then he asked me if I wanted to pay for it today? I declined and told him I would pay when I had the work done. I glad I did because after reading these reviews here am not going back. They do not care about the person, just the money. I would not recommend going to Aspen Dental.
