I used to go to Gentle Dental, but talking to friends and personal experience, I realized it was only a money maker, telling everybody that they needed crowns; even when they didn't. I went to a trustful dentist so he could tell me what exactly I needed, but because of my insurance, I couldn't be taken care of. I brought my x-rays to Aspen, and told them exactly what I needed to have done. I was very clear when I made the appointment.
When I got there, they told me I had to have a panoramic view x-rays. I told them I already had x-rays, and they showed what I needed to have done, but they would not stop asking until I had that panoramic view done. When I saw the dentist, she evaluated me, and told me what I already explained to the Medical assistant in that office. She told me to make an appointment to have that tooth taking care of. I told her that the only reason I went there, was to have that filling done. She said she couldn't, that she had to make an appointment.
I had to pay 40 dollars for my co-payment for no reason. I took a few hours from work so I could have that problem taken care of; and for the cherry on top, I received a bill of 50 dollars, because I had the panoramic view x-rays done which I told them I didn't want to have in the first place, since I brought my x-rays, and they showed the problem. Of course, I spoke to someone in billing, and they cannot do anything for my bill. This place is horrible, and no different than Gentle Dental.
