The only thing that mom Thelma does not seem to like is that the device is heavier than the LifeLine she had before. The only thing I am uncomfortable with is that my mom has to take it off to charge it. I understand that it has to be charged but my mom will lay it down beside the charger without charging it and then she has to wait until I get there to check on her to charge it plus wait for the charge to complete. During this time she does not have it on her person. If she falls it won't detect the fall while it is not around her neck. It seems to me there should be some way around this problem. She has some dementia and I worry when I see the device is low on battery or I go to her house and find it on the table beside her. Is there a wrist band that works and is waterproof that will give the same service? I could be happy and recommend the service if these issues were addressed. Thanks.
