Complaint / review text:
My husband purchased hearing aids from Beltone a year ago, paid $5,400. The first set was the wrong type for him. The second set was over the ear. We had it back and forth to get it repaired so many times. We were totally given the runaround. Repairs were never corrected. They were always blaming someone else. We asked for our money back. Then they said, "Let's try this and this." No good. They still never worked. I was told if I had batteries that I didn't want, bring them in and they will give me ones for my husband's hearing aids. My brother-in-law gave me his unused batteries. I went to Beltone to see if they were being honest. The guy who sold us the hearing aids looked at my husband's chart and it didn't say what kind of batteries he uses.
I went home, got the information and went back to Beltone and gave them the batteries. They didn't take my name or check my husband's chart. They just gave me the batteries I requested. They really didn't care. Yesterday, we received a call from Beltone stating our warranty is almost up. The warranty started the day we purchased the hearing aids. They didn't consider they were in for repairs more than in my husband's ears. So, we went and spoke to a new person. She would let our complaint be known to her supervisor and will get back to us. She took no notes, so I'm sure she will not get back with us. I would never recommend anyone to go to Beltone, ever.
