I went to Aspen to have a filling replaced. I got the full "free" x-rays and everything. I know I have dental issues, but frankly I am not a millionaire and am realistic in knowing what is a priority and what is not when it comes to my mouth. My filling was in the front... My smile. Priority, I work with people that's how I make my money.
Knew this place was a dental factory, but wanted help fast. Dentist came in and told me I needed tons of work. He began explaining everything. I said that I was well aware of the issues, but just wanted my filling fixed. He seemed either offended or just plain pissed. He said I needed a root canal. With the x-rays directly in front of my face on a monitor by the way. By the x-rays he knew I had a few already. I asked why I needed this procedure. He told me to look at the x-rays, but I am not a dentist and cannot read dental x—rays. I have no pain, no irritation, no sensitivity. His answer was that I needed one and would I like to schedule. No. Why do I need. Answer: you do. And he left. The poor assistant wanted to know if I wanted the gum exam. NO.
Sat down with Mr. Store Manager. Did they explain the procedure to you? No, but I've had it done before. When and where? China and it cost me $100 bucks. How's dentistry there. Just fine and cheap! We offer financing. Screw Aspen Dental! It shouldn't cost a beater of a car to fix a tooth. And if I am going to give thousands of my dollars have the courtesy to explain to me way I need this procedure! I am not a dentist, I cannot read x-rays, and I am sure not going to give you my money if you don't give me good reason why!
