On numerous occasions I contacted the Bonitas customer care centre on 086 000 2108 and spoke to the following individuals: Ithumaleng Thoabala, Katy & Louis Ayres requesting a written response to my query wrt the settling of my o/s claim (approx R8 000.00) post my operation and hospitalisation. I was informed that the team leader, Laetecia Sihali would call me back to provide me with interim feedback. Alas, I am still waiting for the call and the feedback. Furthermore, Katy informed me that she will provide me with the written response as per my request upon receipt thereof from the Hospital Claims department. To date I have not received this promised written response. I have personally submitted this specific claim to Bonitas on 10/11/14; 08/12/14; 02/02/15; 11/02/15; 17/02/15 and again 25/02/15. As a BonClassic member I am completely frustrated and angry at Bonitas in not providing me with a written response to my query. My membership covers all major hospital events which must include my operation to remove a brain tumour and recovery in hospital from 6 May 2014. Pre-authorisation was given by Bonitas to the Hospital. Need 2 seek alternate Medical Aid? Bonitas, a response pls
