Complaint / review text:
On 19/01/2015 Bonitas emailed me to verify my monthly income. On 20/01/2015 I replied on their email. Got a ref number for this email I've send.
On 26/02/2015 Shirna Beukes from Independent Distribution Network (Pty) Ltd phoned me to say that Bonitas did not get any response to the above mentioned query. I told her to forward me a email again and I will reply to her email once again.
With forms I received from her to be filled in, I noticed the following:
Section 4: Declaration of income. We will look at the higher gross monthly income of you or your spouse/partner to determine your contribution.
I did query this by Shirna and then I asked her how the cancellation of the medical aid would work as I was not satisfied with the response. I did forward her a letter of cancellation.
This morning Bonitas debit order: R1597 (agree) and R1509 (do not agree) = R3106
No one informed me of R1509 that would be deducted extra and there are no papers signed for this amount.
I would like a refund on amount R1509 as this was not discussed in any way with me.
Very disappointed in Bonitas Medical Fund.
