Complaint / review text:
HORRIBLE experience, I will NEVER use their service again! Spent over 500.00 for glasses and contacts for my daughter and myself and was specificaly told that due to my daughter being a child, her glasses were automatically under warranty but a warranty for my glasses would cost like 30.00. I declined the warranty for myself and assumed my daughter's glasses were automatically under warranty. Well, we bought these glasses mid March and have had to go in at least three times for fixing, tightening etc.
The first time we went in was because my daughter's metal frame glasses had gone loose on her. At this visit, I asked about getting them replaced with something more durable and they said her warranty did not cover replacing with a new frame, I was unhappy with that. Was also told after a theft scare that her warranty did not cover theft either. The kicker is We went in today, less than 4 months after spending over 500.00 on glasses etc, because the metal rimmed pair I had originally expressed concern about, finally broke. And now they are telling me my daughter's glasses are not under warranty at all, that it was something I would have been told to pay in the beginning when I bought them, I was told no such thing.
SO to add insult to injury, NOW they are trying to force me to buy TWO MORE PAIR of crap glasses from the cheap section which would be 69.99, when I paid over 150.00 for two pair in a supposedly higher quality more expensive section WHEN ONLY ONE PAIR NEEDS REPLACED, WTH??!! And are only offering me a measly 10% discount on glasses that broke after less than 4 months of wear???!!! Even worse, they are trying to tell me that if I chose to buy only ONE PAIR, they would cost 69.99???!!! WTH!!!??? So unless I buy two I'm getting screwed??? So not happy right now and will be leaving this review in EVERY blog I can, will be reporting them to the BBB, and filing complaint after complaint with corporate until something is done.
