As per the Bonitas rules on my specific plan, we have to make use of Pharmacy Direct as our service provider ito supplying chronic medication covered by Bonitas. I've always only had 1/2 of meds as on my script delivered by them as I obtain what is not covered by the medical aid from local pharmacy (Who, btw is much cheaper than what Pharm Dir charges). On 22 July ALL of the chronic meds were delivered by Pharmacy Direct incl those I pay for myself. I contacted Pharmacy Direct and made them aware of the mix-up and requested for the couriers to collect the 'unwanted' medication. Since then I've contacted Pharmacy Direct another 5 times and the only response I get from them is that they will forward a communication to dispatch (I've even had a consultant yawn in my ear) - YET NO ONE COLLECTS THE MEDICATION? This additional medication has been charged to my day-to-day benefit and will not be reversed until such a time as the medication has been collected. I am mentioning Bonitas in my complaint as Bonitas has chosen Pharmacy direct as their provider and their chosen provider is clearly not performing. Any previous complaints I've made to Bonitas ito Pharm Dir have gone unanswered.
