Complaint / review text:
I closed my account for my internet service wth time warner cable on dec 2 and returned the modem on dec 5th andreceived a receipt for the returnand that the account is closed and i will receive a new bill in 7 days which will reflect my new adjusted balance. Anyway on dec 7th i receievd a new bill charging me for next month dec 15th to jan 15th and therefore the amount of bill doubled.
I called them and told them about the mistake. They told it is a computer generated bill and to ignore it and you will get a final bill which will show some credit within 5 days. Anyway so far they have not given me a credit or issued a new bill. When i called them today on dec 12th they say it will take another 7 working days for the final bill.
I want to tell everyone that time warner is a scam and wants to rip off customers and do not allow the customers to cancell service. Thi is in vilolation of every business practise and business ethics and so i will fle a complain with attorney general office in washington dc
