After I received a notice that stated that my cell phone service would be suspended if payment was not received by end of day yesterday. Checked my bank statement and found that payments were made in May and two in June so attempted to resolve problem by calling att.
Big mistake! After being shuffled from phone service to uverse six times in hour I gave up. It was like being in the clown car at the circus. Had no idea some genius at att made the decision that uverse and phone people could not see each other section's payment records.
At least that was what I was told by the customer service people I could understand. Went to an att store today and after 45 minutes of looking at my records, CS manager admitted that he saw the three payments that were made but he would have to email uverse to tell them to transfer the funds to pay the phone bill. That's right, he could see both cell and uverse info on the same screen. Was I lied to yesterday?
I asked for a copy of the email for my records in the event my phone service was suspended. I was told that I couldn't be cc'd because I would be able to see the recipient of the email. I asked if he could print the email. Nada, but he would call me.
Even though he had my records open he asked for my phone number. I gave my cell number then he asked for a land line number in case he couldn't reach me. I told him to call and leave a message. Well, that was 13 hours ago and I'm still waiting.
Would jump to another company in a New York minute, but not much choice for internet service in baton rouge.
Recommend that you find a knowledgable CS person you can meet face-to-face and avoid frick and frack with the clown car.
