I signed up for Match.com for one month but was charged $92 dollars. I called right away and they refunded me and I proceeded to pay $36 dollars for a one month subscription. I was not impressed with their site at all. I wasn't being matchup with the potential likes for my daily match. Further, I would keep getting messages from very old men when I clearly stated not to message me if you are over the age of 34. I would get emails throughout the day to check out matches that I WOULD NEVER BE INTERESTED IN.
The morning of Labor Day they charged me again $51 dollars when I had only signed up for one month. I was never sent a receipt regarding this transaction. I called their department and this is what I was told, "Company policy, we cannot issue you a refund." There was no regard to my satisfaction as a consumer and I was only a "monetary contributor" of $51 dollars. I would never use Match.com ever again. I would rather use OkCupid or eHarmony. I strongly feel as a consumer Match.com only wanted my money not to help find me find a good match for myself. Being on the site just frustrated me due to the poor matching capabilities and dealing with their customer care department was the icing on the cake. Please be careful when signing up for Match.com. I would never return.
