Match.com was a service I used for a period of 3 months. It sucked, of course. But as with all of these kinds of services, everyone knows to immediately check and cancel the auto-billing, which I did. Then this month (October) they auto-billed me. I am on the phone right now informing them that they have illegally billed me. The clerk, who is refusing to refund my money, claims that "since you used your account to send us 6 demands for a refund, you have to pay for the service for this period."
There is no way to contact Match.com, except through your members account. That means that if they auto-bill you, you HAVE TO use their service to reach them. You cannot reach them in any other way. I have told that to the clerk. She has put me on hold for the third time, claiming a supervisor is coming to the phone. I have now waiting for 6 minutes. Sites like these need to be avoided. They rarely work, and then only by luck, not anything the site does. I am contacting VISA and reporting this as an illegal billing to my account.
