I purchased about 20 domains with GoDaddy, as well as several hosting packages and add-on services. I'm finally fed up with their terrible customer service and amazingly crappy products.
E. G. Is there any other hosting provider in 2008 who limits traffic bandwidth on their e-commerce package to 1GB per month? I'm checking out some competitors who offer 3,000GB per month for about the same price. How does GoDaddy even stay in business?
Every time I called for support I had to wait at least a few minutes on hold, then had to talk with some $8/hr college dropout who didn't know much about technology, much less the products they were supposed to be supporting. I was recently told by a "manager" in Customer Service "There is nothing we can do for you." So I escalated my complaints to "The Office of the President" which is probably just a group of support people who have worked there longer than eight months (the average turnover period for call centers.) The reply was "We are sorry our products don't fulfill your needs." Yeah and I'm sorry I stayed with GoDaddy as long as I did.
Not any longer.
