I tried Eharmony 6 months before cancelling my account. Much to my surprise, I was charged for another 3 months subscription after I cancelled a month prior!!!
The customer representative told me by leaving the automatic renewal field on, my account would continue to renew and my credit card would continue to be auto-drafted! Not happy!!! I have turned off the auto renew in the past, but when I called to request a refund was told that each time I make a payment (monthly), the auto renew turns back on automatically.
Buyer beware—read the fine print and log back in afterwards to make sure it is really inactive.
