I do realize that they say in the agreement that they "offer" an automatic renewal... Get this... So that your online experience will not be interrupted!!! Give me a break. It's so you won't notice that your original subscription is about to end and the new one is about to begin, only to drain your bank account of the membership fee all over again.
This morning, I noticed my bank account shy the amount of $119. It was Match.com that had taken my hard-earned money. The transaction was pending according to my bank. I went on Match.com to try and cancel my subscription. (They make THAT area difficult to find BTW.) I found the area finally and cancelled my subscription, but I am still in Match.com for another six months. (I didn't cancel in time.) IMMEDIATELY in my inbox was an email from Match.com saying they were sorry I was cancelling and would I like to re-subscribe!!! The answer was NO. Excuse me... But if they had sent, out of human decency, an email reminding me that my AUTOMATIC RENEWAL DATE was approaching, I would not be so pissed off.
