Complaint / review text:
I received a phone call on Thursday 11 June regarding an outstanding account. This was the first time someone phoned me regarding a account. I was informed to make a payment immediately to avoid myself and my husband being blacklisted. I tried to get more information out of the lady who told me to not ask her questions, and that it is not her job to give me details, and that I could go and defend myself in court. She then dropped the call, without giving me her contact details. I then received a sms on the 12th of June informing me to make a payment to avoid blacklisting. I phoned them immediately and was told that myself and my husband have already been listed. They did not want to make any arrangements on payment and did not want to accept a 50% payment immediately and the rest by the end of the month. They are the rudest people that I have ever spoken to. They are not working according to the National credit act. You are not allowed to blacklist a person without having proof that you spoke to them and send them a statement. I will not leave this case and have already contacted the ombudsman.
