We are on debt counselling for 6 years, one account is my ABSA credit card. I accidentally found out that ABSA gave me over to Norton Lambrianos - not even our debt counselors were aware of this. The outstanding amount with NL was R20 299.66. When NL took over in Sept 2013 the amount was R20 232.19 - the account increased! The biggest frustration for me is that when the debt counselling took over this account the amount was a little more than R4000.00 and now 6 YEARS LATER it's more than R20000.00 - what happened?
We receive a Client Payment Advice from our debt counselor every 3 month where it indicated that this account is being paid - the last amount outstanding on the Client Payment Advice for this account is R1 321.07. I only need someone to assist me in this matter, every month money is being deducted and not me or the debt counselors that I assigned know what it is for... Can that be done?
I have logged complaints on the ABSA site and I have phoned NL offices numerous times, I have send 6 e-mails with the same query I am not getting any response to this matter.
What else can I do - someone please help!
