I have taken my vehicle to the Alberante dealership with a vibration issue as well as brake shudder.
This was before my motorplan could expire. My car parked at the dealership for a few days with one a single sms to say they have not yet looked at my vehicle but will check on it soon. This was around 11:45. The following day at 12:00 when I arrived at the dealership in person not having received any feedback even though my vehicle was booked in for the repairs. After much debating with the service advisors I finally got the manager to see me who got a workshop supervisor to go with me for a test drive. Test driving in residential areas one cannot find vibration faults. After a long drive the vibraton was felt and was diagnosed as the profshaft. Back order from Germany 3 weeks car went out of motorplan. However dealership did agree to fix all other queries once shaft was fitted and if the faults were still there.
I have fitted new disc @ 98000 then @104000, then @109000 and now we need another set of disc @116000.
Is this how bmw operates to only repair hoping the problem goes away instead of finding the cause and repairing it?
Have been told to trade the car in.
