Complaint / review text:
I'm fortunate enough to have two rocking the daisies tickets registered in my name but yet my friend has no ticket. Story goes that I bought a ticket and registered it in my name, my friend had already bought me a ticket and registered it in my name as I didn't have cash when tickets first went on sale. She subsequently emailed my ticket to another friend. When RTD sent our emails regarding registering your names on tickets I made sure I complied on the ticket I had bought and the friend who had bought me the ticket did the same for hers. Neither of us thought about the additional ticket
The friend who received the ticket received no such emails as she was not on RTD's email list. So until yesterday's outcry about the ticketing system none of us had even thought about changing the details on the 'other'
'other' ticket. I know of many other friends that are now in a similar situation due to life happening eg break ups, unexpected German measles and now what? Should we all just accept being R700 poorer and leave disappointed friends at home
home? Sounds like an unfair system to me?! Thoughts, comments and feedback welcome.
