Complaint / review text:
I purchased a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro from anther Chevrolet dealership several months ago because it was much less expensive than the deal offered on a nearly identical car by the closest Chevrolet dealership to my home, which is Simi Valley Chevrolet at 1001 Cochran Street Simi Valley CA, 93065. I took the car in to the service department at Simi Valley Chevrolet today for its very first warranty issue and the very first question I was asked by Don Bevington, who is there Assistant Service Manager, was:”Where did you buy the vehicle? ” I told him where it was purchased and he replied: “I don’t think there is anything we can do about it.” But said he would have someone look at the problem. The first thing ‘someone’ said’ was: “I don’t work here.” But then agreed to take a look at it. Then he asked why I had waited several months to bring it in and complained it was too hard to climb in/out of the backseat to look at the problem. He then asked why I had not taken it back to the selling dealership for service. I told him any Chevrolet dealer was required to service any Chevrolet product still under warranty. He then replied: “Its not a warranty issue. The exterior of the vehicle is dirty.” I said: The problem is not on the exterior; it is on the interior. He replied: “The interior is dirty too.” Both he and Don Bevington, flatly refused to service this 2014 Chevrolet vehicle. When I replied I would report the incident to the Chevrolet Zone Office, this fat jerk replied: “Call anybody you want. We still won’t do anything about it.” while both the Assistant Service Manager and a Service Advisor named Gabriel Gordon looked on. This is the same guy who earlier said he didn’t even work there. I‘ve reported this incident to Chevrolet. Stay away from this dealership.
