Complaint / review text:
I have not authorize Tracfone to use my own minutes that I purchased for my use so I have informed (evidently) deaf ears not to be using my minutes sending me text messages with the exception of the number of service days left and then I only authorize one text message regarding that subject. I don't authorize Tracfone to text me marketing items or other texts that aren't directed to me with regards to personal items and not items that general in nature. I have concerns about the number of minutes I am on hold, which costs me minutes. My last call, about a week ago (first week in Nov. 2014) the automated voice system said my wait time would be 1/2 hour. I'm suspect of that in that is that a another way to use our minutes without the customer thinking about it could be part of their business practices. Tracfone should never charge a customer a single minute of time while we are on hold. They need to hire more people if people have to be on hold for 1/2on a Sunday afternoon (probably not a peak time for them). I am also very upset when the customer has to pay for fees levied on the companies by the government and then the companies pass it onto the customer. It smells of another way the big boys get over on the little man. I don't know about the rest of the consumers out there but, there seems to be more hands in my pocket, taking out more money every year. It's seems like it's injustice run amuck.
