Complaint / review text:
Tate Publishing has been a bad experience from the beginning of my dealings with them. They have been unorganized in work and communication between the staff members of their departments, as well as with me. The most severe complaint that I have at this point with Tate Publishing is their false-claims concerning my book which they have published: "It's What Counts That Matters".
The book was released on Dec 10,2013 with an eLIVE logo on the front cover and the following text included inside the book: "In your hands you hold a complete digital package.in addition to the paper version, you receive a free download of the audio version of this book. Simply use the code listed below when visiting our website. Once downloaded to your computer, you can listen to the book through your computer's speakers, burn it to an audio CD, or save the file to your portable music device (such as Apple's popular iPod) and listen on the go!" How to get your free audio book digital download, 1. Visit www.tatepublishing.com and click on the eLIVE logo on the homepage and click on the eLIVE logo on the homepage, 2. Enter the following coupon code, 3. (a 24-digit code consisting of letters and numbers), 4. Download the audio book from your eLIVE digital locker and begin enjoying your new digital entertainment package today!
The book has been released for almost a full year now and available world-wide on the internet with the false claim that the audio is available "today" when to this date it is not! Tate has published two other books for me that include the same claim that the purchaser was also buying the audio version, which they did not complete and make available for many months after the books' release dates. I feel compelled to bring this situation to someone's attention, as dealing with Tate Publishing has brought me much distress since late 2012 when I first signed their contracts.
