One of the biggest mistakes was when I made an emotional decision and bought a Captiva. Unfortunately part of buying the car is exposing yourself to the after service.in this instance the culprit is reeds N1 City! A simple thing like an oil leak results in 2 trips to their repairs - oil leak still not fixed. Just got the car back when the starter broke on Friday the 16th. The AA was BRILLIANT in responding an collecting car, pity Reeds cannot learn from them.
When I followed up on Monday the 19th I was informed systems are down and they cannot book in my car, systems was still down on Monday afternoon and still on Tuesday. When asked what their contingency plan was and what backup they have, I was informed there are none. Wednesday I was informed they are charging my battery to see what is wrong with car, THE AA AND MYSELF TOLD YOU THE STARTER IS FAULTY!!! Nothing wrong with battery, AA confirmed. A starter was only order on Thursday the 22nd, hopefully "delivery in 2-3 days". I have escalated and begged for a courtesy vehicle, just to hear all the cars are out.
Reeds, what do you expect me to do? Is this service that you are proud of? Can't wait to sell this car!
