Got a letter from dish saying that one of the receiver will be retiring since its older but that there would be no cost or commitment associated with replacing this receiver. When I called I had to wait on the line for about 30 mins then I got told that I had to pay $49.99 for a new one or I can get it free but lease it for seven dollars a month. This receiver we have was bought and if they are retiring this receiver then it needs to be replaced for free like it says on the letter we got. I don't think I want to stay at dish if this is the kinda thing they will do for a valued customer.
