My wife decided to Uverse to save some money and supposedly upgrade our internet service to a higher speed. The came to install while I was at work and when I got home, we no longer had the home phone number we have had for 25 years, one of my TV's wasn't working, we could no longer get cell service at our house, and we found out that Uverse is nothing but DSL service. I spent eight hours over the next three weeks on the phone with AT&T trying to get our old phone number back only to be told one month in that I can not get it back. So now I lost my phone number, the internet service is no better and is inferior to Xfinity, and the picture quality of Uverse is inferior to DirectTV. The customer service people are unbelievably incompetent - you get a different story every time you call. I am going to get rid of AT&T for all services including my phone.
