Phone bill rec'd was $81. I called and told Century Link that I had changed providers the 3rd of the month and I would get a new bill. Got new bill for $36. When I questioned them as to how they got $36 when an entire month I was billed $81. The bill for $36 had no explanation as to how they arrived at the $36. When I did a live chat, the representative said that was the amount due on my final bill - end of chat! Well, you take $81 and divide that by 30 days in a month; times 3 days of service, one doesn't get $36! I have been with Century Link for years and if I had to move, I would not choose Century Link again for ANY phone service just by the way I was treated over the "final" bill of $36. This is just wrong. How can they send a bill out without explanation as to how they arrived at a final bill for three days of $36???
