I was really surprised yesterday in the Santa Fe Target store. I was waiting for photo development (a story in itself) and noticed a nice coat in the clothing dept. I tried the coat on in front of a mirror and was approached by a sales clerk who gave me a snooty look and said "you know we DO have dressing rooms." Whoa. I was trying on an overcoat! After reflecting on this exchange I realized how I had been avoiding Target lately just because of the customer service experiences I had had there. Nothing really big... Just small acts that really add up and I have to say... There is real consistency in a seemingly lack of customer service orientation and training at Target now. What happened?
