I purchased a new 2005 Chevrolet Uplander in the Fall of 2005. After a year I expected to hear from Chevrolet about the car and what shortcomings it has, good things, bad things, etc. But, same old stuff, how was the sales part of business. The problem is that there is no contact with the manucturer. The dealer did great. But chevy fell flat on their face.
Meanwhile one thing after another went wrong on the car. Thank goodness I bought an extended warrantee, which still cost me money. Unfortunately the warrantee is dead and now I have to pay for all the design flaws and part failures. I must say that a vehicle that costs over $28,000 just doesn't last too long. And, nobody at Chevrolet or GM gives a damn. It's all about sales. Product loyalty means nothing at GM. I might add that I also had a Porsche Boxster during that same period. Nothing ever was wrong with that vehicle. My wife had a Mitsubishi Spyder that is now over 10 years old and we still haven't had to replace the brakes even. And you wonder why Chevrolet can't keep customers?
It seems the flaws were so bad that chevrolet stopped making that vehicle. Well, bottom line is I probably will never buy a chevy ever again.
Gee, now I feel better.
