Complaint / review text:
My husband and I purchased a living room from The room place in Lombard, IL a couple of weeks ago and were very disappointed with the room places customer service. We called the store several times and were put on hold for over 20 minutes 3 times.
When we were finally taken care of we were told that the furniture was out of stock for another 5 to 6 weeks. This is not what our sales rep stated. We are still waiting for our furniture that we already payed for. Besides there horrible customer service, when i was purchasing my furniture, the cashiers behind the counter were speaking in an unknown language to each other and i was very uncomfortable because i wasnt sure if they were talking business or something else.
It is very unprofessional for employees to speak to each other in other languages in front of customers, it is very disrespectful and unprofessional. I will never buy furniture from this company again.
