I ordered an item online on 11/26/2011 for delivery before my daughter's birthday. On 11/30/2011 I received an email from Target.com stating the delivery date has changed, my order would be delayed and I could cancel the order if I wanted. I went to the "Order Status" screen, however the Cancel Order option is missing! On 11/30 at 2:45pm, I called immediately and spoke to "Ashley" who refused to cancel my order and refused to transfer me to a supervisor. On 11/30 at 3:05pm I called again and spoke to "Diego". I explained everything again and he advised my order was canceled and I would receive an email order cancellation within 24 hours. It is now 12/2/2011 and I still have not received the cancellation email. On 12/2 at 1:45pm I called again and spoke to "Massiel". She stated my order was not canceled and could not cancel my order. I was then transferred to someonw who spoke fluent, understandable english by the name of "Ann". She put in a "work order" to cancel my order and stated I should receive an email at some point confirming the cancellation. "Ann" also said if the order wasn't canceled, I would have to either refuse the delivery or return it to a store. I still have the charges against my credit card, because they haven't canceled the order.
I do not understand why you would give the option of a cancellation, when you cannot truly cancel the order. I hate Target now and will no longer shop there due to this.
