So I got an automated call from Wells Fargo, I did not know the number so I let it go to voice mail. The next day I called Wells Fargo to see what was going on. I gave the customer service Rep my SSN because I don’t have my CC anymore (my attempt to stop using it). They said with out my CC number they would not help me. 4 hours later I got a call again from the same number and it was Wells Fargo telling my I missed a payment (oops not sure how I did that). Without even confirming the last 4 of my SSN they just game me my account balance, how much past due and wanted me to make a payment. Funny how just a few hours ago Wells Fargo would not even talk to me. Seem like they have no real process in place or different process for different teams. I’m going to pay off this credit card and close the account. I don’t want to be with a bank like this. I love the power of closing my account.
