Just ordered a game two days ago, Star Wars The Old Republic. I received an email receipt and that's it. I was instructed to into my Origin account to download the game... One problem, my Origin account doesn't show the purchase, nice huh? So now I've bought a game that I can't download. I opened a ticket with them, they said they'd respond within 24 hours... It's been 36.
Luckily I was able to download the game client once I signed up for a SWTOR account, but my original purchase still isn't showing up in my Origin account.
Sad, you'd think a company as big as EA would've figured out how to compete with Steam which openeed 8 freakin years ago.
