Home Depot in Gainesville Florida has made every mistake in the book in ordering and getting new vinyl flooring installed. Their estmate was way off, yet it took 45 minutes with the associate to come up with it. The associate failed to include the flooring strips in the order (which we discussed at length). After the measurement, I called to pay and pick up the materials. I spoke with someone at 8 AM who said he'd have the order ready to pick up at 3 PM. I had a friend who brought a trailer to work specifically to do this for me. She got to the store at 3:15 and was told the order wasn't ready, hadn't been pulled together yet. 45 minutes later she was finally loaded up, minus the wood flooring strips that had been left out of the order (don't quite understand why they couldn't have been added, but I think my friend had been waiting long enough at that time). So I called the next day to schedule the install. There was alot of iffiness with the associate, so I asked for the number myself and called the installer. She told me it would be installed one week later unless she got some cancellations and then it could be sooner. I waited all week for her to call, but never heard so I assumed it would be done on the day she promised me. I called the night before, and received a call back the next morning. She didn't have my order and couldn't see it in the system. Therefore, my flooring wasn't going to be installed that day. I called Home Depot who called her and she "found" the order. But the Home Depot Associate told me the installer wasn't going to call me until she got a new install date. So, I am still waiting, 2 hours later.
