Complaint / review text:
I used to order from Barnes and Noble quite often, but after my last experience, I don't think I ever will again.
I ordered a couple of books online and upon check out, I had a different shipping (my apt in PA) and billing (my mom's house in MA) address. However, when I got the confirmation, my books were being shipped and billed to MA. I called B&N asking to have my address changed and they said that they couldn't do anything since they were leaving from a third party warehouse. What kind of company doesn't have contact with their warehouse?
Even though my books weren't scheduled to ship until the next day, they still had no solution and said that it was too late to cancel the order as well. They were absolutely no help and said that I'd have to wait even longer for the books to be returned to sender and then I'd have to call to have them shipped to the correct address.
I don't even trust them to do this, so I'm just going to get my books the next time in MA.
