Complaint / review text:
I have had my color Nook for 1 year 2 months and have nothing but problems with it. Now, it's not being recognized by any computer, and their tech support says that it must be the cord. When I first bought my Nook the cord was bad right off the get go, I could not charge it. They sent me a new one. Now, my second cord is bad and they say that I am past the warranty and would have to purchase a new cord.
What is up with that? They obviously have an issue with poor design or faulty product that the power cords go bad so quickly. I am very unhappy with my Nook product. My husband purchased an e-reader off the internet from China that does everything my Nook does and he can download 1,000's of books and games off the internet for free and his was only $125.00 with shipping. He has had his for 8 months and never had a problem. I'm about ready the throw my Nook in a drawer and buy one like my husband’s.
