During the time my husband was incarcerated, we had the unfortunate experience of having to use Global Tel*Link to communicate. Every time I'd put the maximum amount of money on the phone and we'd talk for only a few minutes, the next time he'd call, the recording would say we're out of minutes and I'd have to do it all over again. Then there was some kind of block Global Tel*Link put on our phone service, which our provider is AT&T, that wouldn't allow me to simply accept collect calls through AT&T. There was no way of dealing with Global Tel*Link in resolving either of these issues.
