We have had interrupted internet & phone service from Comcast for nearly 6 months; the modem is overwhelmed or underwhelmed, tries to reboot, and eventually comes back before starting the cycle again. 7 technicians have been to the house, ultimately rewiring from pole to modem (also replaced modem). Technicians 6 and 7 said it's not in our house, but problems on the pole and deteriorated lines for 1 block down the street. We were promised action in 48 hours (on Aug. 6). It's now the end of Sept, with no street repairs done. Just called Comcast AGAIN and was told we need a tech to come to the house to "get a report from us as to the problem." I said to tell me when the crews will fix the lines and poles, and asked for a supervisor when customer "service" repeated that they wanted to send out tech #8 to the house. Finally was told a supervisor will call me back. One hour later, still waiting.
