I got a Nook Color last year. Less than happy. First, while it does the web, it is not readable in sunlight (whereas the black and white one was). Secondly, right from the beginning it has given me trouble. First it was unwilling to download the latest firmware and a B&N person here was kind enough to get it done. Then there was the battery life which was (and still is) averaging only around 3 hours of reading time before needing to be recharged. I got a replacement and still had/have battery issues. On top of that, every call results in the customer, me, needing to go through all kinds of troubleshooting which has never resolved the issue.

Now today the contents of books purchased will not display although the web and the front of books is fine. So after 2 Nook Colors, I am told I will need to trade this latest one for a third Nook Color. Not sure it is worth all the messing around for a few hours of reading versus just buying 6 books to shove in my suitcase when traveling.
