I have previously used comcast in a roomates name and they were very unprofessional then (the tech changed the time of the install so he wouldn't be penalized), but they are the only service readily available in my new neighborhood. So I decided to give them another chance. The first installation appointment we scheduled, the technician never showed up, but put in to his supervisor that the install was complete. Therefore we were charged from the 19th of October (when services didn't really begin until the 3rd of November) and noone in customer service could fix the bill or reschedule my installation because the computer program wouldn't allow it and because they were in a different country. After hours and hours on the phone with multiple different representatives, I was finally transferred to a supervisor who promised everything would be fixed and offered free 30 days upgrades and refunds. So all was well right? Wrong. Our first bill arrived before comcast was even installed and had no refunds were credited. So this time I call customer service and immediately ask to speak with the supervisor, who tells me the bill I've just received is incorrect and that all of the wrong charges will be taken off and assures me that he will then credit me the $20 inconvenience fee for the installation that never happened. So once again, all is well. The technicians come and say they can't install everything because they can't get into our crawl space and leave. So i schedule another appointment and these technicians install everything without going under the house and are very pleasant. We were initially very happy with all of the service, until of course I check the bill online and it says my payment is overdue and I still owe everything from the original bill, when I didn't even have their services. Also, all of the free upgrades I was promised were billed to me, totaling an extra $30 onto my bill. So I have now spoke with the billing department for the 5th time and have again been assured that all of the wrong charges will be taken off and that even though the online bill payment is telling my my payment is overdue, in reality it is not and I shouldn't worry about it. So all in all, I am very frustrated with Comcast's company and poor customer service and I have only been an actual customer for about a week now. I would not recommend this company to anyone who has ANY other option.
