I had answered personals ads on the site Craigslist months ago, and found many to be scams. I never accepted any offers to go to websites and exchange my credit card information for a webcam or other things that were offered. I knew it couldn't be real if that was being asked of me.
In these answers to the personal ads, I included my name, height, weight, and age. My email address was, of course, included.
A friend recently emailed me asking if I was the person in a picture she found on the website PredatorsWatch.com. I had not heard of the website before but was obviously very taken aback, and I investigated.
I found a profile with my picture, name, location, email address, and age on PredatorsWatch.com. I have never been a predator. I've certainly never met anyone through the site Craigslist, which is the only place where emails with that information and that picture could be found.
