I purchased a groupon for a local restaurant for $20 ($40 value) and was not able to use it before it expired. When I dined at the restaurant I tried to use the expired coupon for base value of $20. The restaurant refused to take it because Groupon has not reimbursed them for other expired coupons. I have been emailing groupon for 5 weeks. And they are no help. They will not contact the restaurant but they want me to call the restaurant. However, groupon has my money and should return it. It is false advertising to say you can always use the coupon for at least what you paid for it.
