Stay far, far, FAR f*king away from this place. My fiance and I went to Glamour Shots at Bridgewater Commons last Friday. I had made an appointment with Irina. Over the phone, I asked her about pricing and what kind of packages they have. I mentioned I saw the Value Package on their website which stated you could get 1 8x10,2 5x7,8 wallet size for $195 for a
couple. She brushed me off stating she will talk to me about that in person and give me a good deal.
Me & my fiance get there and while I was filling out paperwork, I asked Irina AGAIN to describe to me what other packages were available other than the previously mentioned Value Package. She cheerily brushed me off stating that she would discuss that with us after the photos were taken and we looked through their slideshow.
Two hours later, we looked at the slideshow. I want to state here that I had no idea individual pictures would be taken. When I called I stated that I had just gotten engaged to my fiance and we would like to take COUPLE shots. Somehow that morphed into 57 pictures, a third of me, a third of him and a third together.
As we watched the slideshow, Irina REFUSED to give me pricing. I kept asking about their packages, what was the pricing per pose, she would NOT tell me. She told me to pick the poses we liked first THEN she would give me pricing. She and the woman who did my makeover (and she was awesome, I will give her her props on my make up and hair) kept
pressuring me and my fiance to pick more and more poses. We ended up picking 17.
Now I was planning on spending around $250. Irina VERY casually, very coolly told me it would be $3000 f*king dollars! I balked at that then she said she could "cut it down" to a thousand. I told her me and my fiance had looked at the Value Package and did not want to spend more than $250.
Her entire demeanor changed at that point. She told me the lowest she could go was 4 poses for $400. We went outside the store to discuss what to do for about ten minutes then went back in and my fiance said as you have been told repeatedly, we would like to spend about $250 on the Value Package. We would like 1 8x10,2 5x7,8 wallets and one additional
sheet of 8 wallets a la carte. She said okay but seemed extremely pissed that we were not buying more poses. She told me their photo studio was in the mid-west, it would take a couple of days to come in then she would call me. She also said we would get a CD with digital rights so we could scan the images online.
Irina called me this weekend and told me my order was ready. I went to pick it up today. Imagine my shock and horror to discover there were NO portraits only a fking CD with two images on them! Irina refused to talk to look or address me. She ONLY talked to the woman behind the register and lied and said I never ordered pictures just the CD. Sure enough, the receipt (which my fiance had) says CDImage. She had said that was just to show the POSE we had chosen and that we would be getting the portraits we ordered.
I argued for over ten minutes. I tried to go on their website to pull up the Value Package. My cell died and the cashier said she "wasnt able to pull it up." Funny how I was able to pull it up the moment I got home!
We were going to contact a lawyer BUT before I left I was told I would not be allowed to leave with the CD unless I signed my name stating I had picked up my order. I had driven out and didnt want to leave with nothing so I signed my name. Also the receipt does say images.
My fiance is going to call and speak with the manager but if that doesnt go anywhere we are going to have to go to ANOTHER studio and print the portraits. So we spent 266 f*king dollars to scan the pics online and post on Facebook?!?! NO physical pictures??! That was the whole point of us going! And now we have to spend even MORE money! Please do not go to
