For the past two years, this ILD Telecommunication Service has been milking my Verizon bill. They started with a very low amount like $9-14 for one year. When I noticed my bill one day and questioned who they were, Verizon did not know and gave me their telephone number. I called the company and through several tries finally got someone to assist who said they would reimburse the money. That reimbursement took over three months. They said that they were some sort of mailbox service for your cell phone that I never ordered, asked, etc. Verizon stated afterwards that they would put a block on the account so that they would not be able to do this again. Again right afterwards, Verizon started paying them again.
Recently, I noticed they are on there again, contacted Verizon again, who said they did not see any block for this ILD service, but would reimburse the $59 and they did, offered me Fios that would also block this vender and I got the Fios. Today, I looked at my June 08 bill and who's on there... ILD milking me for $19.95. I called the 1-800 number and got this lady who was really nasty when I was inquiring on who the company was and told me that the company's name was "My I products" at an address I just gave above. Something needs to be done about this. I have not ordered anything on-line nor subscribe to any of these services. I monitor my computer closely and my kids don't have my password to even get on. How can a company just contact a telephone company and get paid. Soon, Verizon will be paying more and more money to them and whatever other aliases anyone uses.
