Complaint / review text:
I received a letter from my bank saying that Frederick J. Hanna wished to have my account records subpoenaed. The bank complied and I later received a letter from Frederick J. Hanna on March 8,2013 stating that if I wish to contest a debt from Discover Card that I had 30 days to respond. I sent a registered letter to them stating that I wished to contest the debt as I honestly do not recall any dealings with Discover Card. My identity was stolen several years ago, so this debt may have been accrued during that time, so I undoubtedly would want to have my case heard in court. However, I was never sent a summons to appear in court and before the 30 days was up to contest this debt my accounts have been frozen.
I called this firm at least 40 times from receiving the initial letter, but nobody has returned my call. They are unethical and I believe the forged document to have the judgement awarded to freeze my accounts.
This I am sure has happened to many people do not take it lying down. I am going to sue them and I will keep fighting. I am an officer of the courts myself, so there is no way I would ignore a summons to appear in court.
All those who have been violate please stand up in number we could fight them. These are the worst lawyers I have even encountered and I assure I deal with attorneys on a daily basis.
Once you account is subpoenaed by them close the account immediately. I know that is a hassle but they will undoubtedly break the law to freeze you account.
