Do NOT use a Regions Ready Advance. A member of the bank approached me about this and basically it is a "Cash Advance". We were allotted $500 every paycheck. You pay back the $500 when you get your next paycheck. This is all standard with a few HUGE details in fine print the bank doesn't tell you about. #1. When you pay back the $500 it takes a full 72 hours before you can retrieve $500 again. This is good to know when your trying to pay bills or if you have items that are going through your account and the money will not be available. Which could cause items in your account to go NSF and for them to make more money from you. #2. After doing this for a full 6 months they do what is called a "Cooling Off Period." AKA this means that Regions will automatically take the $500 you owe directly from your account and you CANNOT Access the Regions Ready Advance $500 for a full billing cycle (Oh and they won't tell you about it... You have to search it on the internet and find out for yourself in fine print). You would normally think the billing cycle lasts until your next paycheck when they tell you this (and the people at your local bank will tell you the same because they are NOT educated on how their own bank works) however... It is for a full month 1/2. So you are out of $500. If you need to do a cash advance for any reason. Just stick with Amscot so your not uninformed and deprived of your money for months at a time.in order for Regions Bank to keep customers they need to do their homework on their place of employment and not give out false information. Very disappointing and they are about to lose a lot of customers if this trend continues.
