On September 19,2012, we purchased an Ashley recliner from the store in Springfield, Illinois. This product has a one year warranty.
In March of this year the recliner developed a split in the material. I spoke with the store manager and was told to call Ashley Furniture. I called them and was told that HH Gregg needed to handle the problem. I returned to the store and then was told I needed to call customer service in Indianapolis.
I made the call and was told that I needed to provide pictures which I did. After several calls and emails I was told that the chair would be repaired. A service technician came and repaired the split.in June the chair split at the repair and also split in a second place.
Calls were made. I was told a service tech from SAW Enterprises would have to look at the chair. Several days later a service tech evaluated the chair and said that part of the chair needed to be replace and he would call HH Gregg to have the part ordered and should receive a call from HH Gregg to schedule a tech to repair the chair. Two weeks passed and no call.
I called HH Gregg and was told the piece had not ben ordered. They did order the part, finally, and a date was set by SAW Enterprises to repair the chair. It again was repaired. This is August 20th and a new split has occurred in another part of the chair.
Here we go again. So far they have made three services calls for a three hundred dollar chair.
