Complaint / review text:
I ordered my cabinets on 9/26/2013. Was told by the store manager they were in-stock and would be delivered to store in 2 weeks.
After the 2 weeks past I called on a Monday and was told they were on a truck and would come in on that Friday 10/18. Based on that info I started demo of the old kitchen. On 10/18 at 3pm I called to check on my order. They said they were inventorying my order and would call me back in 10 mins.
They never called back. I called Sat 10/19 they said they need to check the stockroom and would call me back. I then went to the store to go face to face. I was told 3 cabinets did not come in.
I was told they were wall cabinets and would be in next Friday 10/25. Not too happy I said ok give me what you got, they charged me for all cabinets even the ones I did not get. When I got home I realized I was short 4 not 3 cabinets. I drove back to store to make sure they knew I was missing 4 cabinets.
One was a base cabinet needed to get sink/countertop on and complete the floor tile. I told manager I was hurting for that base cabinet as I needed to get the kitchen back. I was told it was on the truck and would come on 10/25. But after complaining manager called around and he told me the Detroit store had it in stock there and he would get it by Monday 10/21.
I called the store on Monday the employee said the manager is off on Mondays and he knew nothing about my base cabinet. Realising I was getting the run around I emailed the customer service department for the company. After a few exchanges I finally got the answer. The customer service rep said they line of cabinets I bought was way over-sold and they were waiting for a new shipment from overseas.
He said it will take another couple of weeks to get. I am stuck as I picked out colors for paint and the floor tile based on these cabinets.
Also still have not heard from the store itself, even though I have left several messages.
