Complaint / review text:
My parcel was shipped on 10 March 2015 from Estonia in Europe to South Africa with TNT. I payed Euro 124 for express delivery. The parcel arrived at OR Tambo on 12 March 2015 and cleared from customs at 11h29. The proof of payment of the EFT for VAT and admin costs was received by Pule Mofokeng on 12 March at 13h57. I received an e-mail at 14h21 in which he stated: "Parcel will be delivered tomorrow, latest is Monday. Currently shipment is at our JHB depot ready for delivery."
Today, Monday 16 March 2015 at 14h30, I telephoned TNT's Customer Services and were told that the parcel would be delivered by Wednesday morning, apparently by Fast and Furious Couriers. That is at least 6 days for a parcel to be delivered from OR Tambo to Rustenburg, a mere 150 km away.
An express delivery this was most certainly only until the parcel arrived at TNT's location in South Africa. From thereon the service is PATHETIC. I have no idea whether I will infact receive this parcel. I expect to be refunded at least part of the courier fees since nowhere on TNT's website do they state they cannot deliver to Rustenburg or would use alternative couriers to make the delivery.
