A couple of weeks ago I imported a parcel from the USA using DHL Express and the delivery took place in an impressively quick 4 days. I were so satisfied with the fast and efficient service that I decided to use DHL again for another parcel coming for the USA.
Everything started very well for this parcel and the invoice for the customs duties were emailed to me and payment were made moments later by my partner. However the problems started when the parcel were never cleared by customs. I phoned the helpline for 3 days and each time the agent would confirm that they have all my details on record and that my payment was received. The last agent I spoke to promised to email customs and find-out what the holdup is, but I've not heard anything back yet. It's been a week since I've paid for the import duties, but still there has been no movement on my shipment.
I'm pretty sure it's customs at fault, but I would like DHL to find out what the problem is and report back to me please.
